Nauryz Celebration 2024

On April 13, 2024, the BC Qazaq Community came together at Central Park in Burnaby to celebrate Nauryz, the Central Asian New Year. Attendees in traditional attire shared homemade Kazakh dishes, filling the park with music and dombra melodies. Children and adults participated in traditional games, creating a joyful atmosphere reminiscent of home. A yurt-like setup offered a cozy gathering space, fostering connections across generations.
