Organization of the Nauryz celebration
In March 2016, Dinara came up with the idea for the first Nauryz celebration for Kazakh immigrants living in the Greater Vancouver Area. Samal, Maulen, and Dina organized the event, which took place in the party room of Samal’s residence in Yaletown, Vancouver. Since then, this annual celebration has become a cherished tradition within the community.
