BC Qazaq Community Bylaws and Rules
The BC Qazaq Community: exists to foster an inclusive, respectful, and enriching environment for all members. These bylaws and rules ensure harmony and mutual respect within our community. By joining and participating, members agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect for All Members:
Treat all members with courtesy, kindness, and respect, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or background.Personal attacks, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Prohibition of Hate Speech:
Hate speech of any kind, including racism, sexism, xenophobia, or any form of discrimination, is strictly prohibited.Members found engaging in hate speech will be removed immediately from the community.
3. Avoid Sensitive Topics:
Discussions on politics, religion, or any other sensitive topics related to gender, sexuality, or personal beliefs are not permitted during community gatherings or on communication platforms.This ensures that the community remains a neutral and welcoming space for all.
4. Conflict Resolution:
Members are encouraged to resolve personal conflicts respectfully and privately.The BC Qazaq Community does not bear legal responsibility for disputes arising between members.
5. Respectful Communication:
Engage in constructive and respectful dialogue, whether in person or online.Avoid inflammatory language, shouting, or aggressive behavior during discussions or events.
6. Legal and Ethical Compliance:
All members must follow Canadian laws and regulations in their actions and communications within the community. Members must not use the community as a platform for illegal activities or unauthorized fundraising.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
Respect the privacy of other members by not sharing their personal information without consent.Any photographs or videos taken during community events require prior permission from the individuals involved before being shared publicly.
8. Community Participation
Members are encouraged to actively participate in events, activities, and discussions to foster a sense of unity and collaboration.Constructive feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
9. Volunteerism and Contributions
Members are encouraged to contribute through volunteer work, donations, or other means to support the community’s growth and initiatives.
10. Consequences for Rule Violations
Any violation of these bylaws may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the community, depending on the severity of the infraction.
11. Anti-Harassment Policy
All forms of harassment, including but not limited to bullying, intimidation, stalking, and inappropriate behavior, are prohibited. This includes both in-person interactions and online platforms like WhatsApp, social media, or email communication.
12. Inclusivity and Diversity
The community welcomes individuals of all nationalities and backgrounds who share the values of peace, respect, and collaboration.Efforts will be made to accommodate individuals with disabilities or special needs during events and activities.
13. Zero Tolerance for Violence
Physical or verbal threats, violent behavior, or actions endangering the safety of others will result in immediate expulsion and possible legal action.
14. Use of Community Resources
Community spaces, materials, and digital platforms must be used responsibly and only for activities aligned with the community’s mission.Misuse of resources for personal or commercial gain is strictly prohibited.
15. Alcohol, Drugs, and Smoking
Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted during community events unless explicitly approved (e.g., cultural celebrations where it’s customary).Smoking is allowed only in designated areas during events, in compliance with local regulations.
17. Financial Transparency and Anti-Fraud Policy
1. Any financial transactions related to community activities, donations, or events must be approved by the community administrators in advance.
2. Scams, fraudulent financial practices, or misrepresentation of financial dealings will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the community.
3. Under Canadian law, financial fraud is illegal and may lead to legal action. Members are reminded to act responsibly and ethically in all financial matters.
18. Youth and Family Protection
Special care is taken to create a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth during events.Activities for minors require parental supervision or written consent.
19. Social Media Code of Conduct
When engaging with the community’s social media channels, members must refrain from posting offensive, false, or promotional content unrelated to the community’s mission.Content reflecting poorly on the community’s values will be removed, and offending members may face restrictions.
